American Book Company
I began my career as a designer at American Book Company, and was later promoted to lead marketing designer. In this role, I led a small team of designers to produce national print campaigns across 12 states, each with their own educational standards and unique needs. Our coordinated efforts as a cross-functional team contributed to 15% YoY sales growth in key regions during my time at ABC. This experience gave me the unexpected and unique opportunity to grow as a leader early in my career.
I was also able to gain hands-on experience working with in-house printing while formatting textbooks and designing promotional materials. This proved vital to my development as a print designer, and enabled me to establish strong, trust-based relationships with print vendors in future roles.
